Reuse, Recycle, Rejuvenate: The Re-urbanization of Manufacturing

This webinar explored how bringing small-scale manufacturing back to urban and peri-urban areas can benefit communities and spark entrepreneurial growth.  Speakers Katy Stanton and Tanu Kumar from The Urban Manufacturing Alliance provided an overview of manufacturing re-urbanization, and examples of successes and challenges related to land use and real estate, local branding, and workforce development as well as a discussion of how low-income residents and communities of color can full participate and benefit from the jobs and business activity created.
